• Annual Holiday Lights Fair - Starting the day after Thanksgiving and continuing through the month of December, come experience Du Quoin Tourism's transformation of the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds into a magical place with lights and decorations. The event features a 3 mile drive through of over $400,000 worth of lighted displays as well as decorated trees, entertainment, food, crafts, and visits with Santa in the Expo Hall. The light trail opens nightly from 5:30pm - 9:30pm, and the Expo Hall will be open on the second and third weekends in December from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Keyes Park - a family park with various outdoor play equipment for all ages, picnic area and tennis courts. Located at Washington and Park Streets in Du Quoin.

Du Quoin Municipal Swimming Pool - Located on the west side of the city at 640 West Park Street. Open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Monday-Friday 12:30-3:00 & 4:00-6:00, Monday night ony 7:00-9:00 $1.00, Saturday 12:00-3:00 & 4:00-6:00 (.25), Sunday 1:00-4:00 > > 11 and up is $2.25 > 10 and under is $1.75 > 3 and under is .50 > non swimmers are $1.00- Saturday.
