Come and experience the wondrous beauty of over A HALF MILLION TWINKLING LIGHTS that decorate Du Quoin's magnificent fairgrounds. The driving rout starts as soon as you enter and meanders along a paved street, lined with old street lights, past two decorated mansions, lighted buildings, and the spectacular grandstand, over 25 animated lighted displays, the decorated expo hall, not to mention all the lighted trees throughout the grounds.

At the expo hall you will find plenty of parking as your enter the heated indoor winter wonderland to see some of the most beautiful trees and displays, food concessions, exhibits and entertainment.

The expo hall theme for this year is "City Lights & Country Nights in a Winter Wonderland." The expo hall opens December 9th with musical entertainment, free train rides for the children, visits with Santa, beautiful decorations and trees, crafts and food. The grand opening ceremony will be December 10th at 6:00pm amidst a scene of street lights, building facades and the recently constructed replica of the new mutil-purpose building now open at the fair grounds.

There will be a variety of food to satisfy your taste buds, too. Plate dinners, sandwiches and snacks will be available.

Grounds open.....5:30 to 9:30 each evening

Entertainment..6:00 to 8:30 (expo hall)

Nov. 27 - Dec. 30..........Lights trail open

Dec. 4-6......Light trail, exhibits, food, crafts, visits with Santa, entertainment

Dec. 11-13.....Light trail, exhibits, food, crafts, visit with Santa.

Dec. 18-20......Light trail, exhibits, food, crafts, visits with Santa, entertainment

($8.00 when Expo Hall is open)
